It's the anniversary of this here site, and things are looking a little worse for the wear. I've been trying to herd cats, time-wise, and it's made me a little quiet publicly as of late. I found myself heading to Vancouver the weekend before last, thinking "Have I really not uploaded anything to Flickr since the last time I was in Vancouver?" and "Was that really three months ago?"
A lot has happened in that short span - SXSW, the IA Summit in Vancouver BC, the Ja-Sig/UPortal conference last week, a vacation, a 27th birthday (!), an eighth anniversary (!!), allergy tests, sinus issues, facehugger-like medical appliances, lots of little semi-secret projects and one increasingly less-secret project - so I'll be looking a little bit backwards and a little bit forwards to catch up, for anyone listening.
I've also got a lot of stuff on my plate for the future, including an inevitable redesign of splitlevel. Of course, at my current pace, I'll be lucky to get it done in time for the November CSS Reboot, so let the procrastination countdown begin. But the last year has given me a lot to work with moving forward, so whenever I get around to it, it should be good and should make my online life a little less messy and scattered.
Anyways, that's my attempt to write a "it's been quiet here/i'm not posting but will be soon" post without saying "It's been a little quiet here... but I'll be posting again soon." So there you are.
