Holy crap - James Karen - Frank from Return of the Living Dead is playing Uncle Ben? This is the first time I've felt even remotely interested in watching this film.

I think it's in good hands. Singer can be hit or miss, and definitely took license with X-Men, but from the 'video diaries' I've seen (you can subscribe through iTunes), he seems to be sticking with the story fairly close. No leather.
