Nice, as are Jen Bekman's other gas station recommendations.

Yes, Yes, Yes.

David O. Russell is a bad, bad man (and I'm about a week behind.) Watch the second video. Warning - lots of bad language.

Interesting look at Orlando as home of America's exurbs. Also, Disney World isn't subject to state inspections?

Woah, that is one calm, cool, collected dude.

Joel Tauber and the Tree.
Joel Tauber is premiering Sick-Amour this Saturday from 6 to 8 at Susanne Vielmetter Los Angeles Projects in Culver City.
It'll be my first time seeing the project in its entirety, including the large prints of the photos that Ian and I shot for Joel's project.
See you there!

Reebok hi-tops and Tron? I wear a size 10.5/11 people. Make it happen.

They nominated Ennio Morricone's awesome score for The Thing? Stanley Kubrick for The Shining? WTF? Vern does a good job of making a distinction between bad unwatchable (ie, The Black Dahlia) and bad enjoyable (Road House).

This is despicable - and it's worth noting, her words were applauded. While I won't restrict anyone's right to speech, even if it's just empty shock, I think it's unconsciable that she continues to get booked on national forums (ahem, Fox News?).

BFF!
This is Ian. We're totally like best friends. When I see him at parties, he tells jokes and everybody laughs. I don't always get them, and sometimes I think they're about me, but I know he's laughing with me.
He's really the best. We're gonna do lots of stuff together.
